Jim Tate is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Overdrive Global LLC. He is married to the former Candacey Anne Roberts, and as a blended family, they have 5 children; Abby Caroline, Kyle, Kelly, Kandy and Kale. Jim was a former soldier within the enlisted ranks of the Army Special Operations for 17 years, and completed his tenure of service as a training and weapons qualification advisor to the command structure of the Alabama Military Academy (200th Regiment Leadership) for 7 years. Post retirement, Jim was called on to serve as the senior security advisor to the Honorary Consul General of Japan for Alabama, where he stood post for elected officials within the state of Alabama, the Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C., and had the opportunity to stand post with the US Secret Service for the Vice President of the United States, Michael Pence on a campaign trip.
Jim’s logistics career began in 1990 through logistics in a manufacturing industry for 10 years, he served as a senior advisor to a national brand logistics company for 13 years with over 20 million in billing. In 2016, Jim opened the doors for Overdrive Global LLC where leaders are welcomed and customers come first. His expertise of managing hundreds of over the road projects, coupled with managing several manufacturing plants and their logistics requirements. In just under 30 years of service, Jim has managed over $100 million dollars of logistical billing, and over 50 million miles of OTR transportation networking.
Assistant to the Chair and CEO – Director of Budgeting, Media, and Carrier Procurement
Kelly Parker is the “Rock and Tower” of Overdrive Global LLC and serves as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, along with leading the office of Budgeting, Media, and Carrier Procurement.
With a prestigious background in growth development in the textile industry, Kelly has redirected her passions within global logistics and the transportation industry. Kelly leads our team with a high degree of analytical skill, collaborative team orientation, and a binding spirit for business development. She lives for the challenge that comes from the CEO’s desk, as well as, the entire staff. Representing the office of the Chair and CEO, and with a wide scope of imagination, Kelly is prompted to set and achieve goals within our organization and work intimately with our customers to help discover solutions in a regularly changing universe of logistics. Given the company’s tremendous growth, she is the epitomy all expectations and standards.
Kelly was born and raised in the State of Alabama. After sharing a childhood with her twin sister and two brothers, she pursued an education from Auburn University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Business Management with a specialty in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Family Business. She is happily married to Brody Parker, and they reside in Alabama with their two daughters. When Kelly and Brody are not working, they enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their two dogs. Overdrive Global would not be the same without the spirit and extraordinary heartbeat of Kelly Parker!

Daron Walker is the Senior Vice President of Overdrive Global LLC. He has been married to Jamie Meikle Walker for 32 years and they have 2 children; Garrett and Mikaila Walker.
Daron is a former Sonar Technician First Class in the United Stated Navy, serving honorably for a total 10 years aboard the USS Thomas C. Hart (FF-1092) and at Fleet Training Command for the Pacific 6th Fleet.
After his military career, Daron spent 26 years within the cultures of industrial and automotive industry, with his final 18 years at the Honda Manufacturing facility in Lincoln, Alabama. As a Senior Staff Engineer at Honda, Daron served as the Department Manager of Frame Assembly and Weld Departments, Technical Advisor for Engine Assembly, and finally as the Line 2 Control Department Manager responsible for the Business Planning and Budget Control Management of all Line 2 Departments at HMA.
Daron joins Overdrive Global LLC with a wealth of team building expertise and an energetic spirit of culture toward customer solution awareness.
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
Senior Vice President of North American Distribution
Meet Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, a seasoned professional whose commitment to excellence seamlessly transitioned from the football field to the fast-paced world of logistics. With an impressive 8-year NFL career, Ha-Ha’s drive for logistics emerged early on when he partnered with Sam Barrington, an NFL Linebacker and owner of Sky Limit Crane Equipment and Rentals.
Post-NFL retirement, Ha-Ha continued his pursuit in the logistics industry, obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License and amassing over 5 million miles in service with his own brand, equipped with six tractor/trailers. From loading and unloading trucks to driving multi-stop routes, Ha-Ha cultivated a deep understanding of freight transportation, diligently maintaining detailed logs of working hours and vehicle status in strict adherence to state and federal laws.
Ha-Ha’s extensive experience in freight transport administration and operation is a testament to his ability to handle diverse projects and customers in a demanding environment. His proficiency extends beyond that of operational logistics; Ha-Ha is experienced in interacting with the public and individuals from all levels of organizations, whether facilitating a delivery or engaging in negotiations. Beyond his achievements on the road, Ha-Ha’s leadership extends into player development at the University of Alabama under Head Coach Nick Saban.
