JIM TATE
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Overdrive Global LLC.
Jim’s professional journey is truly remarkable. With a commendable 26-year career as a former soldier in the Army Special Operations, and Advisor to the Army National Guard Bureau Military Academy, he brought a unique perspective and dedication to military commands, conventional and unconventional.
Following retirement, Jim served as the senior security advisor to the Honorary Consul General of Japan for Alabama, where he provided security services to elected officials within the state, the Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C., and even had the privilege of working alongside the US Secret Service during a campaign trip with Vice President Michael Pence.
In addition to his impressive military background, Jim conquered 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. His expertise spans from managing manufacturing industry logistics to advising a national brand logistics company, he managed to exceed $20 million in billing. In 2016, Jim founded Overdrive Global LLC, driven by his passion for delivering unparalleled service to clients and prioritizing their needs.
With his extensive experience managing millions in overall billing and, overseeing over 50 million miles of OTR transportation networking, Jim has proven himself to be a seasoned leader within the global industry of logistics.
What sets Jim apart is his unwavering dedication to achieving excellence. He consistently goes above and beyond, meticulously tackling every task with precision and a strong attention to detail. His commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment has earned him the respect and admiration of the industry. Coach Randy Ross has had an illustrious career in coaching, spanning over 42 consecutive years. He has gained recognition for his unwavering dedication to character development and instilling values in student athletes, as acknowledged by the NCAA.
Starting his coaching journey at the high school level, Coach Ross achieved an impressive record of 11 consecutive winning seasons. He then took his skills to the college level, joining Vanderbilt University as the DB and QB coach for three seasons. In 1990, Coach Ross was recruited to the University of Alabama, where he served under four head coaches over a span of 17 seasons.
Following his successful tenure at Alabama, Coach Ross served as the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff at both SMU and the University of Arkansas. His role in these positions allowed him to further contribute to the development and success of athletes and staff members alike. Coach Ross recently retired in 2020, culminating an extraordinary career in coaching.
Coach Randy Ross is supported by his wife, Ann Lowe Ross, a former high school guidance counselor of 45 years. Their combined years of experience and dedication to shaping the lives of young individuals have allowed them to consider themselves parents to hundreds of students throughout their teaching and coaching careers.
